The Deal

Who Qualifies, and How It Works

No fee waivers with asterisks, no capped "community plans". The full platform, free, for organisations that exist to do good.

Who qualifies...

  • Registered charities. Bring your charity registration or identification number.
  • State and government-funded schools, primary and secondary. Private and fee-paying schools do not qualify.
  • Churches, mosques and other religious non-profit organisations, from parish fetes to community iftars.
  • Another good cause? Apply anyway. Approval is case by case, and we enjoy being convinced.

How it works...

  • 1. Apply. Tell us who you are and what you do via the contact form. Two minutes, no essay required.
  • 2. Prove it. Send your registration number or official documentation. For due diligence we may request further documents, handled confidentially in line with our privacy policy.
  • 3. We review. A human checks every application, case by case. We aim to come back to you within a few working days.
  • 4. Go run events. Approved organisations get the full platform for up to 3 users, free, for life.
Every Penny Counts

What a £10,000 Fundraiser Keeps

Selling 500 tickets at £20 for your cause.

On eventcloud
£10,000

Platform fees: zero. Revenue lands in your own Stripe account on Stripe’s normal schedule. Only Stripe’s standard card processing applies.

On per-ticket platforms
£300 to £900 gone

Typical per-ticket fees of £0.60 to £1.80 across 500 tickets, before card processing. Charity discounts soften the number; they rarely delete it.

Illustrative figures based on published per-ticket rates of mainstream ticketing platforms, June 2026. Card processing exists everywhere and is set by the payment processor, not by us.

Fair Questions

The Fine Print, Out Loud

What exactly is free?
The full platform, for up to 3 users: unlimited events, tickets and registrations, custom registration forms, QR check-in, badge printing, promo codes, 30+ languages. Paid events and free ones alike. The only money that ever leaves your account is Stripe’s standard card processing fee, which goes to Stripe, not to us.
Who qualifies?
Registered charities; state and government-funded primary and secondary schools (not private or fee-paying schools); and churches, mosques and other religious non-profit organisations. Every application is assessed case by case, and other good causes are welcome to apply too.
What proof do you need?
Your charity registration or identification number, or equivalent official documentation showing your status. As part of due diligence we may request additional, sometimes sensitive, documentation. Everything you send is used only to assess the application and is handled confidentially in line with our privacy policy.
What if we need more than 3 users?
Mention it in your application and we will work something fair out together. The free-for-life offer covers 3 users, which comfortably runs most charity event teams.
Why do you do this?
Because charities, schools and community congregations run brilliant events on tight budgets, and we would rather the money went to the cause than to a ticketing platform. Unlimited is our whole philosophy; extending it free to people doing good is the easy part.
Can the offer be withdrawn?
Approval is at our discretion and assessed case by case. If an organisation ceases to be eligible or misuses the offer we may withdraw it. In plain terms: stay a good cause and the platform stays free.
