Turn a Laptop into a Kiosk. No Flight Case Required.
Open the Badge Kiosk link on a laptop with a printer beside it. Visitors type their ticket number, check their badge and print it, and printing checks them in.
- Any printer the laptop can print to
- No kiosk hardware to rent from us
- Rehearse it on a draft event

Type It. Check It. Fix It. Print It.
Self-service, like the supermarket tills, minus the unexpected item in the bagging area. Delegates and visitors (attendees, if your show is in Las Vegas) do the typing; the kiosk does the rest.
- 01
Type the Ticket Number
The nine-digit number from their ticket or confirmation email. There is no camera scanning at the kiosk, so nobody waves a cracked phone screen at a webcam. Their name or email works too, if you switch that on.

Check the Badge
"Hi Tomas Reyes, is this you?" The badge appears on screen before anything prints, and Not Me, Start Again is one tap away. Several tickets match? They pick theirs from a short list of names, companies and ticket types.

Fix a Typo
With Correct Details switched on, visitors fix their name or the answers the badge prints, then check the badge again. Their email address stays as it is.

Print. They're In.
Print My Badge sends the badge to the printer beside the laptop and checks the visitor in. One print per ticket, unless you allow reprints. A refunded, unpaid or already printed ticket gets a polite message sending them to the registration desk.

One Tap, Two Jobs
Printing the badge is the check-in.
Print My Badge prints the badge and checks the visitor in, so kiosk arrivals count in Insights, and a scan at the door afterwards just says they are already in.
One Page of Settings. Then Go and Find a Coffee.
No flight case to book and no kiosk mode behind a premium tier. Everything lives on one page of your dashboard: Run, then Badge Kiosk.
- Kiosk PIN: keep the four digits the page generates or set your own. Visitors never see it, and it is separate from the check-in staff PIN.
- Four switches, all off by default: reprints, finding badges by email, finding badges by name, and visitors correcting their details.
- Pause and Resume: every kiosk stops printing at once, and the laptops stay set up.
- Generate New Link: a new link and PIN lock every laptop on the old one.
- A badge design first: nothing prints without one, and the page tells you before a visitor finds out.
- Test mode: until the event is published, the kiosk prints test tickets, so you can rehearse with your real printer.

Silent Printing on Windows. Nothing to Install from Us.
Browsers normally show a print dialog. Start Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox in kiosk mode with the command on the Badge Kiosk page, and badges go straight to the printer.
- Copy the command: one each for Edge, Chrome and Firefox. Close the browser, press Windows + R, paste it, and the kiosk opens full screen.
- The default printer: Edge and Chrome print to the Windows default printer, Firefox to the last one it used. The paper size lives in the printer's own preferences.
- Any printer the laptop can print to: we name printer models only after we have printed real badges on them.
- Alt + F4 to leave: opened in a normal window, the kiosk still works and shows the print dialog.

Kiosk Questions. Answered Before the Doors Open.
Do I need special hardware for a self check-in kiosk?
No. A laptop with a browser and a printer it can print to is the whole kit. Open the kiosk link, type the kiosk PIN once, and visitors print their own badges. On Windows, the command on the Badge Kiosk page starts Edge, Chrome or Firefox in kiosk mode, so badges print without the print dialog. There is no hardware to rent from us and no charge per badge or per scan.
Can visitors scan their QR code at the kiosk?
No. Visitors type the nine-digit ticket number from their ticket or confirmation email, or their name or email address if you switch those on. QR scanning happens at the staffed door, where check-in runs on any phone with a link and a PIN.
Which badge printers work with the kiosk?
Any printer the laptop can print to. The kiosk hands the badge to the browser at the badge's own page size, so set the paper size in the printer's preferences and print a test badge before the doors open. We do not name printer models until we have printed real badges on them.
Is it safe to let visitors find their badge by name or email?
It is a trade-off, which is why both switches start off. With either one on, anyone at a kiosk can find and print another visitor's badge. Keep reprints off so each ticket prints once, keep an eye on the kiosks, or switch them on only at a staffed desk.
Can walk-ins print a badge at the kiosk?
Once they have a ticket. The kiosk does not register people or take payment, so walk-ins register on your event page from their phone, or your team adds them in the dashboard, and then they print at the kiosk with their new ticket number.
Does the kiosk work without an internet connection?
Coming soon: offline check-in. Today the kiosk needs a connection for every lookup and every print, so use the venue Wi-Fi with a charged mobile hotspot as backup, and keep a few blank badges and a marker at the desk.
