Promo Codes and Affiliates

Discounts for Every Deal You Already Promised.

Member rates, partner discounts and the sponsor-guest price someone agreed at the drinks reception. Each deal gets its own code, scoped to exactly the passes, add-ons or paid sessions it was promised for.

  • Percentage or fixed, capped and dated
  • Limited to one email domain if you like
  • A tracked link for every partner
Promo codes list with three codes: a 100 percent speaker comp, an 80 percent press discount and an expired fixed-amount flash discount, each with how many times it was claimed and its status

Partner Links

Know Which Partner Earned Their Dinner.

Give every media partner, member body and sponsor a tracked link that works from any page of your event site, then read their results on the event's Insights leaderboard.

  • A link for every partner: unlimited per event, each working from any page of your event site
  • Credit for the whole order: an order placed in the same browsing session as the partner's link counts towards that partner
  • Leaderboards per event: each partner's orders and revenue, and each code's orders, revenue and discount, ranked by revenue
  • Commission is your call: we report who sold what, and paying commission happens outside eventcloud, because there is no payout engine
Affiliates list with two partners, a podcast and a newsletter, their example.com contact emails, their codes and the sales each has brought in
Other Levers

Codes Are Not the Only Lever.

Sometimes the right answer is a different pass or a bigger order: a private pass that opens only from its secret link, with its own rate, or group rates that lower the price as the order grows. Set a code to skip tickets already at a group rate, and the two never stack.

FAQ

Promo Code Questions. Answered Straight.

Still unsure? Book a demo and we will set up your first code with you.

Can a promo code apply to only some passes or to an add-on?

Yes. Each code can be scoped to named passes, add-ons, paid sessions or any mix, as a percentage or a fixed amount, with a redemption cap, an expiry date and an optional email-domain restriction.

Can registrants combine two codes?

No. One code per order, typed at the order summary. If two discounts should apply together, create one code that carries both. A code can also be set to skip tickets already at a group rate, so it never stacks with your group price.

How does affiliate tracking work?

Each partner gets a tracked link that works from any page of your event site. Orders placed in that browsing session count towards the partner, and the event's Insights leaderboard shows each partner's orders and revenue.

Does eventcloud pay commission to partners?

No. eventcloud reports who sold what; agreeing and paying commission happens outside the platform.

Can a code keep a pass type private?

Coming soon: access codes that open a pass only to invited guests. Today, a promo code changes the price, not who may register, so keep an invitation-only pass on a private attendee type reachable only by its secret link.

Is there a limit on codes or partners?

No. Promo codes and partner links are unlimited on every plan; we count team seats, not codes.
