Inside the App

The Programme. The Bookings. The People.

Built for phones: on a laptop, attendees use their attendee portal instead.

The Agenda. Day by Day.

A tab for each day, with the time and room on every session. Attendees bookmark what they want to see, and anything they booked, or their ticket includes, joins their own agenda with a Booked or Included badge.

Book a Seat. Or Pay for One.

Every session has its own page. Free sessions book with a tap; paid ones take a card payment into your own Stripe account. The capacity and clash rules match checkout, so nobody is booked into two rooms at once.

One-to-one Messages. Text Only, for Now.

Attendees find each other by name or company and chat one to one. Email addresses and phone numbers are never shown. There are no push notifications and no blocking or reporting yet, so messaging has a switch for every event, on by default.

Bookable sessions show the price and the places left, sponsors get a page of their own, and attendees find each other by name or company.

FAQ

The Event App. Asked and Answered.

Do attendees have to download anything?

No. The event app is a web app that opens in the phone's browser from the link in the attendee's confirmation email, or with their ticket code. There is nothing to find in an app store. It is built for phones; on a computer, attendees use their attendee portal.

Is there a charge per attendee for the app?

No. There is no per-attendee licence and no invite list to manage: the ticket is the credential. We count team seats, not attendees.

What is in the app?

The agenda and a personal agenda, session booking and payment, one-to-one messaging, sponsors, and a profile with the attendee's ticket QR. Exhibitors you give access to also scan leads in it. Coming soon: push notifications, an exhibitor directory, matchmaking, polls, live Q&A and surveys.

Can attendees message each other?

Yes. Attendees find each other by name or company in the app and chat one to one, in text, on their phones. Everyone with a valid ticket is listed by name and company, never by email or phone. There is no blocking or reporting yet, and messaging is on by default, so switch it off for any event where that matters.

Does the app send notifications or work offline?

Coming soon: push notifications. The app is a web app, so it needs a connection and does not work offline; the lead scanner inside it is the exception and keeps scans for up to 30 days once open.

Is the app in the attendee's language?

Its screens are: the app follows the language each attendee chose on your event website, in UK or US English, Spanish, German or French. Your agenda and sponsor content shows in your primary language. More on multi-language events.

Can exhibitors scan leads in the app?

Yes. Exhibitors you give access to scan the QR code on each attendee's badge or in their event app, rate each lead and export their leads to Excel. No charge from us per scanner or per lead. You decide whether exhibitors get it with their pass or buy it at checkout for a price you set. See lead retrieval.
