Build Events with Claude
Connect Claude to eventcloud and you can build an event by talking it through. Claude sets up the details, tickets, prices and registration form. You review the result and publish it yourself.
What You Need
An eventcloud account.
A Claude account.
On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds the connector for your organisation first. Then you connect your own account.
Connect
In Claude, go to Customize › Connectors and select Discover.
Search for eventcloud and select Connect to Claude.
Sign in to eventcloud if you're asked to.
Check the page that says what Claude can and can't do. If you belong to more than one organisation, choose one.
Select Connect.
Each connection is for one organisation. To work on another, connect again.
What Claude Can Do
List your events.
Create a draft event, and change its details.
Add and change ticket groups, tickets and prices.
Read, create and change registration forms.
Claude asks before it changes anything you already have. You can change that for each tool under the connector's Tool permissions.
What Claude Can't Do
Claude only works on draft events that have never been live. A published event shows its name and status, and nothing else. So does an event that was published and put back to draft.
Claude can't:
Publish an event or change its status. That stays with you, in the dashboard.
Take or refund payments, or connect Stripe.
Change members or seats.
Send email or messages.
Change your organisation's settings.
Add, change or remove terms and policies on a form.
Things to Try
"Create a draft event called Northern Tech Summit, short name Northern Tech: a conference on 12 and 13 March 2027, 09:00 to 17:30 UK time, at the Sage, St Mary's Square, Gateshead, for 300 people, in GBP. Describe it as two days of talks and workshops for the North East's technology community."
"Add a VIP ticket group with 50 tickets at £250, with an early-bird price of £199 until the end of January."
"Add a dietary requirements question to the registration form."
"Read my draft back to me and tell me what's still missing a price."
Publish Your Event
When the draft looks right, open it in the eventcloud dashboard. Claude gives you the link. Check it over, then publish it there.
Disconnect
In eventcloud, go to Integrations › AI Agents and select Disconnect. Claude loses access straight away. You see your own connections, and an organisation's owner sees everyone's.
You can also disconnect from Claude, under Customize › Connectors.
If Something Goes Wrong
| What You See | What to Do |
|---|---|
| Claude says an event can't be read or changed | It's published, or has been. Use the dashboard |
| "AI agent connections aren't available for your organisation" | Contact us at [email protected] |
| Claude asks you to sign in again | Your connection has ended. Connect again |
| "Too many calls" | Wait a minute and try again |
If Claude changes a form while it's open in the dashboard, saving there asks you to reload the page first.
Your Data
Claude can read your draft events and what's in them. Your AI provider handles that under its own terms. See our privacy policy for what eventcloud keeps.
