Multilingual Registration
Multilingual registration matters most at congresses, trade fairs and any event that sells abroad. It covers more than a translated landing page: the questions and answer options on the form, ticket and price names, the payment page, the confirmation email and the PDF ticket all need to arrive in the visitor's language, or the journey switches to English halfway through and the visitor wonders what they just agreed to. Badges are the exception many organisers make on purpose, printing them in one language so door staff and exhibitors can read every name.
US vendors also write multi-language, and both markets mean the same thing. Translation is the slow part, not the switch: every question, email and ticket design needs a checked version per language, and consent wording deserves a professional translator. Search engines also need hreflang tags to send each visitor to the right version.
With eventcloud, an event can offer up to five languages (UK and US English, Spanish, German and French), and each registrant gets the form, checkout, Stripe's payment page, emails and PDF tickets in the one they chose. Your own email wording needs a version published for each language, and badges print in your main language unless you switch on each attendee's own.
