What Gets Counted

What Each Bill Counts.

Units, never amounts. What a vendor counts tells you how the bill moves when your event grows.

eventcloud Counts

Team seats

Events, registrations and attendees are not counted.

idloom Counts

Paid events running at once

One on Light, three on Plus, five on Premium and no cap on Corporate. Users are unlimited on every plan, and attendees on the paid plans ID2.

The trade-off runs both ways: idloom does not count users and we do; we do not count events and idloom does below Corporate. Units from idloom's pricing page, checked 27 October 2026.

Unlimited, with the Small Print Printed Large.

Here is everything we do limit, in one paragraph.

Unlimited events, registrations and attendees on every plan. We count team seats, not tickets, so your bill does not rise because your event sells out. The limits that do exist are operational, not commercial: 99 of one ticket type per order line, 10,000 orders per Excel export, five languages per event, and one subdomain and one sending domain per organisation.

Fair Is Fair

Where idloom Is Ahead Today.

On registration depth, idloom is ahead today: conditional rules, multi-step application review, invoicing and bank transfer, more than 20 languages, EU or US hosting, and an API with webhooks and CRM connectors. If those top your list, idloom is the honest answer. If they do not, here is our case.

  • Every paid event at once: run as many paid events in parallel as you like, on every seat. No plan decides how many.
  • No ladder to climb: everything eventcloud ships is on every seat, from session booking to lead retrieval, with no Light, Plus, Premium or Corporate step to buy.
  • Sessions with a capacity: delegates book sessions as they register, each session stops at its capacity, clashing sessions are refused, and paid sessions go through the same checkout.
  • Money that matches the bank: card revenue settles in your own Stripe account, with VAT frozen onto every order and net revenue after the real Stripe fee, per event.

Fair Questions

idloom vs eventcloud, Answered.

How much does idloom cost?

idloom's pricing page lists Light at €150 a month, billed annually, for one paid event at a time; Plus at €450 a month for three; Premium at €550 a month for five; and Corporate at €1,150 a month with no event cap, all excluding VAT and about 10% more if billed monthly, alongside a free plan capped at 50 attendees per event (idloom pricing page, checked 27 October 2026). Its sign-up form showed different figures on the same day, so confirm with idloom before you budget. eventcloud has no plan tiers. Our own plans are on the pricing page. You can build the whole event, rehearse checkout with Stripe test cards and rehearse check-in on a draft event for free; you subscribe when you are ready to publish.

Does eventcloud have conditional logic?

Coming soon: questions that show or hide based on earlier answers. Today each ticket group has its own form, so each audience is asked only what applies to it, over as many pages as you like. idloom has conditional rules now.

Can delegates pay by invoice or bank transfer?

Coming soon: invoices, pay by invoice, bank transfer and purchase orders. Today card payments go through Stripe's hosted checkout straight to your account. For delegates who must pay off-platform, capture a PO number on the form, hold the place and send them a payment link, or add them by hand once they have settled.

Where is our data hosted?

Coming soon: hosting in the EU or the UK, with a data processing agreement. Today eventcloud runs in one US region (Fly.io, US East). You can erase an attendee on request, exports are yours at any time, and event data is kept through a lapse with a warning before purge. idloom offers EU or US data residency.

Can we print badges at the desk?

Yes. Turn any laptop and the printer beside it into a self-service Badge Kiosk: visitors type their ticket number, check their badge and print it, and printing checks them in. You can also print any attendee's badge from the dashboard before the doors open, on 4x6 inch, A4, A5, A6, Letter or custom stock. The phone scanner your door staff use does not print. idloom prints badges at check-in in its own app.

Which languages does eventcloud support?

Five: UK and US English, Spanish, German and French, each with its own web address. Each delegate gets the registration form, every checkout step (Stripe's payment page included), their emails and their PDF ticket in the language they chose. Publish a version of each email per language, or readers get your primary wording. Arabic is coming. idloom lists more than 20 languages.
