Ticket Group

Every audience at an event needs its own setup: delegates, speakers, exhibitor staff and VIPs answer different questions, receive different confirmation emails and wear different badges. A ticket group is the container that holds all of that for one audience, with as many ticket types inside it as you need, such as early bird, standard and student passes. Make a group private and it disappears from the public event page, so only people with its secret link can register.

Other platforms divide the same job differently. US tools talk about ticket types, ticket classes or registration types, and UK congress systems about delegate categories, so there is no single industry word for it. The nearest equivalent elsewhere is a registration type that carries its own form and badge.

There is one form per ticket group, not per ticket type, so an audience that needs different questions gets a group of its own.
